Tibet hacker? Not me, guv.

[Updated to fix a grammatically slipshod sentence that I just noticed]

While I’m not particularly vexed by the question of exactly which individual is responsible for the attacks on India, Japan and Tibet I discussed here, the New York Times reported that it had identified the  individual concerned as one “Gu Kaiyuan, based on online records of his writing….now an employee at Tencent, which offers social networking, instant messaging, online gaming and other online features.”

A subsequent report by David Barboza, also for the New York Times, indicates that both the company and the individual have denied his involvement.
