SecureMac reports finding Blackhole: The Next Generation. To be precise, “a new version of BlackHole RAT trojan horse as labeled by the hacker as 2.0 for Mac OS X” which it has labelled BlackHole RAT 2.0a.
SecureMac says that the version it’s discovered is not the one reported by Intego a few days ago as OSX/BlackHoleRAT.B, which SecureMac calls BlackHole RAT 1.0c.
Confused? You will be….
According to comments apparently in the code, there will be a more stable (and, so SecureMac hypothesise, more widespread) version shortly.
