Apple: update volley and time slip

Apple tends to ignore or actively ignore jailbreaking issues: however, the speed at which iOS 4.3 has been jailbroken (apparently within 24 hours of the update release) must really annoy them.

Hat tip to Richi Jennings for pointing this out:

Meanwhile, Bill Ray has pointed out in The Register yet another iPhone problem with timing at the vernal equinox (US clocks have just gone forward: iPhones, however, have gone backwards). As Ray notes:

Given that iPhones have been plagued with such problems before … one has to question the judgement of anyone who wakes up after a time change and relies exclusively on their iPhone for guidance …

Smartphone, huh? And while it’s not really a security issue, screwing up such basic implementation doesn’t inspire confidence.
