More from CanSecWest

Dan Goodin reports for the Register on iPhone and BlackBerry brought down in hacker competition: Attack of the killer drive-bys. Yes, Charlie Miller did it again, using Safari on the iPhone.

Given how rarely we hear about Blackberry exploits, it’s maybe a little more interesting to hear how Willem Pinckaers and Vincenzo Iozzo were able to steal a complete contact list and and cache of pictures stored on a Blackberry Torch 9800 and write a file to its storage system.

Apparentlyno-one tried to hack an Android. I guess with all the malicious Android apps around, it’s not worth the bother of looking for a vulnerability when people will install anything. 😉
