It really isn’t Koobface…

…as reported by Microsoft’s Technet blog.

Well, actually we already reported that (and even earlier here), as Tony Bradley mentioned here in a PC World article, while SecureMac’s analysis, the first I became aware of, also referred to Boonana as a new malware family. But it’s good to get independent corroboration, and there’s some useful information on which components Microsoft are detecting, and by what name.
